Planning adviser at Drivers Jonas and Deloitte, from the original outline planning permissions in the early 1990’s, through the many phases of Green Park and Green Park Village, one of the leading locations for technology businesses in the UK. Working with the original master developer, PRUPIM, and then subsequent investors and developers, including Berkeley Homes, establishing the planning policy basis and securing planning permissions for more than 250,000 sqm of business space, 800 homes and a new railway station. We built a great working relationship with Reading Borough Council the lead authority, and worked closely with Wokingham and West Berkshire Councils. Great experience working with the lead engineers on transport and floor risk management Peter Brett Associates, landscape architects EDCO, and the design team that included Fosters & Partners on the master plan and first phase, Scott Brownrigg, Tate and Hindle and many leading architects.
